How To Run Your Car on Water
Water4Gas is a technology based on splitting water on board a vehicle, and using the resulting gases not to drive the vehicle - but only to boost the efficiency of its combustion.
It is a Do-It-Yourself technology, specifically designed for beginners with no special tools and very limited budgets. A working system can be built at home with basic hand tools for $20-$100, installed in minutes and removed in seconds.
No modifications to the engine, computer or fuel injection systems, so any backyard mechanic can install it easily.
The technology is age old, over 91 years. All we've done is raise it from the dead and develop a simple structure based on low cost hardware. Although there is a myriad of hydrogen generating designs out there, ours is the simplest and also the safest for the beginner. The electrolyzer, bubbler and water reservoir have all been combined into one super-simple device.
Another advantage is the employment of coiled/spiraled electrode WIRES - rather than flat plates or spiraled plates. The magnetic vortex created by the coil assists water splitting, so we don't need as much power from the car's electrical system, thus simplifying the system even further and lowering its cost.
Three major factors work together to cause water splitting: direct current flowing through the electrode wires to the water, the magnetic vortex created by the shape of the electrodes, and the vacuum provided by the engine itself.
The effects of this technology is lowered emissions and improved mileage, simply due to a MORE COMPLETE COMBUSTION. Today's internal combustion engines suffer from poor efficiency of 20%-25%, as any mechanic will tell you; 75%-80% of the gasoline, instead of being converted to forward motion, is instead converted to pollution and carbon deposits (unburned fuel), as well as heat (global warming), vibration and noise (knocking/pinging).
THE MAIN PROBLEM IS OVERSIZED FUEL DROPLETS IN THE MIXTURE. The Hydrogen, being such a small particle, hits a droplet, cuts it into smaller droplets and attaches itself to the smaller droplets. Now the finer, hydrogen-enhanced mixture, is capable of burning more thoroughly.
On top of improved performance, the engine steam-cleans itself every day, and the resulting effect is smoother and quieter operation. One of our staff was shocked when she checked her engine oil and was sure that her oil ran totally out. Actually what happened was that while she was expecting dark brown, dirty oil, the oil was actually so transparent that she could not see it on the dip stick. Her 20-year-old car is as smooth now (with our device on) as it was when she bought it 17 years ago.
Another lady "complained" that she could not hear the engine running...but to her surprise the car was still moving along.
Our technology is not capable of running a car on water alone. Our aim is not to replace gasoline but to enhance it - and open the door and the mind to the possibilities of waterfuel technology. With correct fine tuning we can double the mileage, rendering a new energy balance: half gasoline, half water. Very little water is used, in an economy car it's around 2700 miles per gallon of distilled water, together with 4-6 teaspoons of household baking soda as catalyst. We have demonstrated many times that the fuel consumption of a 4-stroke generator can also be cut in half with our technology.
Not all cars, loads and driving conditions will gain the same, obviously. For ethical reasons we do not build up expectations for more than 10%-50% improvement in fuel economy, however we are getting daily success stories from experimenters who are seeing gains of 80%-100% in various vehicles. For some, significant economy gains inflict a revelation that something can be done about it, while for others it's a life changing factor.
We sell books that teach EVERYTHING about the technology and how to manufacture it, as well as sponsoring a f'ree marketplace where sellers and buyers of actual systems can find each other and trade without interference and without any fees paid to us. Like in the Golden Age of Greece - no police, very little government.
At the time of writing we have more than 3200 satisfied customers, over 400 registered independent manufacturers/installers, and an unknown number of affiliates promoting us all over the world. 85%-90% of our sales occur via affiliates, and more are joining due to the generous 50% commission rate and the skyrocketing popularity of the product and the technology.
All in all, Water4Gas has become a buzzword for practicality and affordability. Our policy is to guide the readers toward a mindset of an experimenter rather than a driver that takes things for granted. We teach them that something can be done about gas prices, pollution and global warming, and they gladly take an active role and help to spread the word.
At the time of writing the technology is only for gasoline and diesel cars and trucks. However many of our experimenters are working on adaptations to propane/LPG/CNG propelled vehicles, as well as boats and other applications such as stationary generators.
We're getting daily requests from business people around the world, as well as inventors inspired by our success, requesting that we work with them to advance their goals and purposes. We help as much as we can, including bridging the gap between investors and inventors, as well as between inventors/developers seeking to complement their technologies with supporting ones (such as a bridge we've created between an English fuel cell and an American pure-hydrogen generator).
Thus Water4Gas has emerged and evolved in one year from a small home-based business to become a global junction for waterfuel technologies, inspiration and leadership.

'Poker' - Made in China - A History Lesson
Poker has been molded and shaped over many centuries into the current game that we know today. Who would have realised that poker would be played across nations on TV, in online poker tournaments or that high profile players would be watched competing by thousands over the globe?
Poker is the most popular card game of the 21st century. With the advent of Texas Hold'em featured as the title game in the World Series of Poker in the 1970's the game spread over the dining room tables of the world like wild fire. This version of Poker is now the most frequently played and one of the most, if not the most popular game.
Some people believe that the first etchings of early poker were scratched out amongst the nobility of ancient China when the Emperor at the time played a game known as "domino cards" with his wife on Chinese New Years Eve. This would have been some time around 969 AD.
In the 12th and 13th centuries Egyptians are recorded as using an ancient form of playing cards and in the 14th century Persians invented a detailed set of 96 cards that were fashioned from delicate slices of ivory or expensive wood. It was here that the game of "As Nas" was invented, involving betting and hierarchical hand rankings using 25 of the 96 cards.
However it was in the 17th and 18th centuries in France and Germany where the game most similar to the poker we know today was played. This version of the game was known as "Poque" in France and "Pochen" in Germany and a derivative of a 16th century Spanish game known as "Primero". This new game involved dealing three cards to each individual player and bluffing when holding poor cards in order to fool opponents.
It was the French who eventually brought poker to America when French colonialists started to arrive in Canada. At this time poque was the national card game of France, by the 18th century after the founding of New Orleans the game spread up the whole country via the Mississippi river where it became known on the Riverboats as "The Cheating Game."
It is thought that the cheating game became so popular because the other fashionable cardsharp game of the time, 3-card monte, was notoriously rigged and untrustworthy. Poker was a more challenging and honest gamble and so it quickly became the favourite.
Both women and men played poker on the river boats yet when the game spread to the Wild West of America it was predominantly seen as a man's game. Every saloon housed a poker table and during the civil war both sides of soldiers enjoyed playing the game.
In 1875 the card known as the Joker was finally introduced as a wild card resulting in the Americanised game we know and love today.
There are now many different variations of poker, all influenced by the game originally created in simple form on the Mississippi banks and riverboats.

What Beats What in Poker - A Quick Guide
What Beats What In Poker
Do you want a quick guide as to what beats what in poker? I hope this guide can help.
Poker is such a fun game. There are so many elements that make up the game of poker. Bluffing, betting, heavy strategy...these are the reasons that poker has exploded in popularity recently. But I often find new players asking the rank of hands when we sit down to play. So that's why I wrote this article. , ranking hands in order from best to worst.
Royal Flush
This hand is a straight from a ten up to an ace with all five cards consisting of the same suit.
Straight Flush
Any straight, even below ten, and all five cards must be of the same suit.
Four of a Kind
This hand contains any four cards of the same rank. When two players have the same Four of a Kind, the fifth card in their hand will decide who wins, with the bigger card being the better.
Full House
Any three cards consisting of the same rank together with any two cards of the same rank together.
Flush
This hand has any five cards of the same suit which are not consecutive. The highest card in the hand of the five makes out the rank of the flush.
Straight
Any five consecutive cards of different suits, meaning the suits don't matter. The ace can count as either a high or a low card in this hand.
Three of a Kind
This is any three cards that are of the same rank.
Two Pair
This consists of two cards of the same rank together along with another two cards of the same rank.
One Pair
Any two cards of the same rank.
High Card
If none of the previous hands exists, then the player holding the highest card wins.

World Poker Tournament-Learn How to Win a Free Entry!
World Poker Tournament features the best poker players in the world playing a series of international poker tournaments. It is the tournament every poker player wants to play in.
The most prestigious and biggest world poker tournament is the World Series of Poker. It assembles every year all the great poker players worldwide and play against each other. Afterwards, the best among the rest will stand out and will gain the prestige of being a champion and will have the chance to take home millions of dollars.
The World Series of Poker is being held in Las Vegas annually. It was originally started by Tom Moore at the Holiday Hotel and Casino in 1968. What makes this world poker tournament very popular are the prizes involved as well as the players who attend it. Some of the high profile poker players who engage in WSOP are Phil Hellmuth and Johnny Chan. Its main event is the Texas Hold'em tournament which has a buy-in no limit of $10 000. The winners of the main event receive the largest cash prize in world poker tournament and a diamond and platinum bracelet which certify that the players are truly the best poker players worldwide.
There some tips to consider in winning a world poker tournament. First is to lay odds on the pre-flop raises. In world poker tournament, antes are being introduced along with the blinds after the fourth level. It is advisable also to get away with higher raise when making a hand to raise. Lower raise means lower risks.
Second, the player should take good care of his or her stack of chips before anything else. Protecting the chips is the very first thing to put into mind when the player is involved in a pot. In this way, the player can have the chance to protect the hands while not losing the pot. Remember being cautious is very important in playing poker games. Also put into mind that if the opponent bets for a river card, the player should call and just hope that the third king isn't in hand.
Third, get away with situations like coin flip. Avoid playing large pots in a situation wherein the chance of winning is only 50-50. One example for this is acquiring a middle pair versus two higher cards. If the player is in this situation, the best thing to do is to avoid raising again before the flops.
Lastly, be aware of the stacks of chips and never ever give up. This is because players tend to play aggressively and desperately with short stacks. This playing move is very premature. It is more important to put the player's attention to the stacks of chips rather than to the antes and blinds. And when the player decided to play a hand, the player should push it all in already. It is always alright to waste only one full round before taking the pot a great shot.
The aforementioned tips are some of the techniques of the best poker players playing in a world poker tournament. Keeping these techniques in mind will lead to success in any poker tournament.

Mobile Gambling and Online Poker - Top 10 Mistakes
Mistake 1. Playing When You're Exhausted
It's hard for online players to actually go to bed and stop playing. Some people only know it's time to stop because they have lost all of their money. When you begin to get tired or its past your normal bed time you should stop for the sake of your bankroll. Playing when you're exhausted is only good for one thing, losing all your money.
Mistake 2. Playing Too Many Tables and Folding the Nuts
It's easy to get caught up in playing 3 or 4 tables at once. Having a big hand at one table can really distract you from your other tables. It can be so distracting that you could fold the nuts at the other tables because you weren't even paying attention and were too busy worrying about another table.
Mistake 3: Playing Too High Stakes
Everyone likes to test their skills at bigger stakes. Why wouldn't they, it's how you better your game. It's when the stakes are so high that they can wipe out your bankroll and your rent money in one swoop that your play will suffer.
When the stakes are so high that you're afraid to put all your money in with the best hand you shouldn't be there. Being scared to lose your money just makes you lose it even quicker. Stick to the stakes where you can reload a couple times and be perfectly fine about winning or losing that amount.
Mistake 4: Playing Way Too Many Hands
Well this mistake happens in live poker too but happens a little more common in online poker. Usually it's because the player is tired or just bored but they begin to play every hand they are dealt. Watch how the pros play online poker. They rarely play hands and are very cautious about which ones they choose to play. A bankroll that continually dwindles every 30 minutes is probably caused by playing too many marginal hands. If you're a slow loser then this is probably your diagnosis.
Mistake 5: Work and Play Don't Mix
Everyone who works behind a computer has done it. Sneaking behind the computer and playing some cards while at work sure makes the time go fast but isn't the best thing if you're trying to make some money.
Nagging customers, bosses interrupting, and the occasional damn phone call always seems to interrupt during a huge hand. It just doesn't work because too many things can distract you at the perfect time.
Mistake 6: Going on Tilt Times 5
Ah, the dangers of online poker. The dreaded tilt factor is magnified by 10. Multitablers can lose 5 times as much because typically they have 5 tables open. One bad hand can rock the ship and all their money goes down the tube on all 5 tables. Not only that but it happens really quick online versus live play. At least in live poker it takes some time for the cards to be dealt. Do yourself a favor and only play 1 table if you're susceptible to going on tilt easily.
Mistake 7: Not Able to Handle Losses - "I got to get it back"
The late night frantic plea to try and get your money back is probably the worst feeling in poker. If you "Need to get it back" then you shouldn't have been playing in the first place. Needing the money will only cause you to lose even more and make really bad plays.
Have you ever noticed that players who really don't care about the money tend to win all the time? Players who need to win usually end up on the sidelines wondering what the hell went wrong.
Mistake 8: Too Tight During Heads Up
Watching players lose all their money to blinds is a sad thing. It's very common to see this in Sit n Go's where the player thinks that just because they made it to the final 3 by sitting around that they'll win the darn thing by sitting some more. Loosen up the play, switch gears, and you'll throw your opponent for a loop and they won't know what hit them. Giving your money away to large blinds will only dwindle your stack and leave you with little or no glimmer of hope to actually win the tournament.
Mistake 9: Excessive Bluffing
Poker players just love to bluff online. I don't know if it's the automation of the whole money/chip process or they watch too much poker on TV but players are excessive bluffers online. My whole theory is that players see the pros on TV playing other pros and think that's how they should play. What they don't understand is that it's pros versus pros not pros versus newbie's. Not too many pros bluff new players because new players are hard to bluff. Half the time they don't know what beats what anyway. Bluff too much online and you're bound to get burned.
Mistake 10: Playing While Intoxicated
Time to sit back have a six pack in your underwear and win some money right? Well you got the first part right but the whole trying to win money while you're drunk part, not so right. Alcohol and poker don't seem to mix too well. At least when you're drunk in live games there's usually someone there to stop you like a friend or your empty wallet.
When you're playing online it can be very hazardous to your bank account because you'll tend to go through money like those beers you're drinking. If you can't stop drinking you might want to set an automatic limit on the amount of money you can deposit per day. This should keep you from losing too much if you still want to drink and play poker.

Mobile Gambling Online Poker - Cheating Methods to Watch Out For
This issue must be addressed, and you must understand how to avoid it. It is just a fact of life that people are going to take advantage of other people in an unfair manner when given the opportunity to get an edge.
Whether it's stealing from your local job or taking millions from innocent people through accounting frauds, it's wrong. I am going to tell you these common cheats not so you can go try them yourself, but to prepare you for what to look for. Cheating is for losers and I don't expect anyone who is reading this to ever cheat. Cheating is common in poker and you have to know how to avoid it and what to look for.
Cheating at the Corporate Level
It has even happened at the corporate level when a top level executive was caught using a server exploit in which he used to see other players hole cards. Eventually stealing millions from customers in the mid-part of 2007 at Absolute Poker. He was finally busted and this lead to the biggest scandal in poker. If you want updated info on this you'll have to Google it.
Cheat One "Instant Messaging"
The first thing to look for is slow tables. You want to avoid these at all costs. Most of the time the players aren't just trying to be concise about their actions, they are cheating. Another reason to avoid slow tables is because the more hands you play per hour the higher your profit is going to be.
A common way that people take your money is by working in teams. They will sit down at a table with two or three other friends and suck every penny out of any poor soul that sits down. They do this through a technique called Aiming. They use AIM (automated instant messaging) to tell each other what they have. It may not seem like a big help to each other but it is. Knowing that six cards are out of the deck can improve your odds by almost 12%.
Let me give you an example of how it can help them even more than that. Say they were aiming and one player had 9 2, the other hand 4 7, and the third hand 2 j. All three of these players folded pre-flop. The flop comes 2 2 A. If you're sitting with an ace and you have someone betting like he has a two I think the aimer just might know you don't have a two.
A ring game consists of ten players. These are hot spots for the cheaters because they can play against more players and use more people in their team and still keep their profit level high. These advantages that the cheaters have will make it almost impossible for you to win unless you're just getting the cards that night.
Cheat Two "Co-Op Raising"
Another thing to look out for at tables is players with large stacks. Many times players will go in with a partner and raise re-raise each other pushing other unsuspecting opponents out of a pot. The raising and re-raising is supposed to make you think there are two very strong hands at play. Even the average player understands that when you've been raised and then re-raised in a hand that it's time to run unless you have the absolute nuts. If you see weird folds where no matter what the player had he should have called due to pot odds then you should be suspicious as well.
Most of the time they are doing this with junk hands but as a good player you know the right play is to fold. Now that you know what you are looking for you can use this cheat to your advantage. If you spot two players constantly raising and re-raising each other but are never showing their cards you can trap them. Just calling in this spot will pay you off enormously. Most of the time they will only go to the river card betting big. By this time it doesn't matter because they just raised and re-raised you enough to double your stack.
Cheat 3 "Chip Dumping"
This is probably the most common and easily executed cheat online. The most common place for this cheat is in a 100 player or more $100 buy-in or above tournaments. I have heard of as many as 7 guys working together to pull of this cheat because it increases their odds of winning enormously.
The process involves chip dumping. These players work in teams and dump their chips to each other and finally to one end guy. A guy who started out with 1000 chips just got 12,000 or more handed to him. I don't know about you but if I double up early in a tournament only twice I'm almost guaranteed to make it to the final table.
The only thing that gets in the way of these cheaters is that you don't start at the same table as your team-mate. This is ok because as soon as the players end up at the same table they dump whatever chips they have to each other. It's pretty much a guaranteed way to make it to the final table. In tournaments where first place walks with 50 or 60 thousand it is worth the effort to these cheaters.
MOBILE GAMBLING or mobile betting means you can have your very own personal bookie, whether it be an online SportsBook or even a Mobile Bookmakers website. The Rules in Texas Holdem Tournaments
The rules in Texas Holdem tournaments are easy to follow. The first rule is that the dealer will rotate with each hand dealt. This is because the player to the left of the dealer gets to make the blinds. The blinds are a large and a small blind. The first person to make the bet will put in the small blind. This is the minimum bet. The next person puts in the large blind, this is the maximum bet. As the dealer continues to change, rotating clockwise, the blinds continue to change as well.
The dealer will, starting with the player on his left, deal each player two cards face down, one at a time. These are called the pocket cards. Five cards are then put face down in the center of the table. These are called the community cards.
The rules in a Texas Holdem tournament require the betting to commence when the first card in the center, called one of the flop cards, is turned over. With each of the flop cards, the betting continues. The first three cards in the center that are overturned are considered the flop.
The third round of betting commences when the turn card is overturned. This is the fourth card in the community cards. By this time, in most tournaments, some of the players in the game have folded. In Texas Holdem poker, when you fold, this means that you are out for that hand, not out of the tournament. Many players will fold after the flop.
After the turn, the river, which is the fifth card in the community cards, is overturned. Betting commences again. It always goes clockwise starting with the player to the left of the dealer. One of the main rules of Texas Holdem tournaments is that you bet in turn. Even if you are going to fold, you have to wait until it is your turn to do so. To fold prematurely would give other players an advantage.
You never turn your cards over and allow others to see what is in your hand when you fold. Again, this gives other players an edge and can be considered a form of cheating. This type of behavior can end up getting you tossed out of the poker tournament.
The Texas Holdem poker tournament rules state that the game continues until there is one player left. The final player is considered the winner of the tournament. Each tournament has a different cash prize so how much the player wins depends upon the tournament. When playing in a Texas Holdem tournament, you have to follow the rules or you risk being asked to leave the tournament. The objective is to stay in the tournament until you at least win money. In some tournaments, the final five players all win some cash.

The Worst Hand in Texas Hold-Em Poker - It Isn't What You Think
If you want to win at Texas Holdem Poker, you should know what the worst hand and the most dangerous hand in poker is, and they aren't necessarily the same hand. Ask any Texas Holdem Poker player what the worst hand is, the worst two hole cards, and he or she will invariably say, the 2-7 unsuited (U). There is no denying that the 2-7 (U) is the hardest hand to build a winner with, but that doesn't necessarily make it the worse or better still, the most dangerous hand, in fact, the 2-7 (U) is one of the best hands you can draw.
Puzzled about that statement? Here is why those two hole cards aren't so bad. When was the last time you lost on a 2-7 unsuited? Starting to understand now? The worst hand in Texas Holdem Poker is the hand you seriously underestimate. Opening with a weak hand and playing it wrong is bad enough, but sticking with it when you should have folded is even worse.
More players have gone bust with a pair of pocket rockets (AA) more times than with a 2-7 U. How well do you know the expectations for each pair based on the players at the table or in the pot? For instance, you're sitting on a big slick, suited (S), before the flop, there are six players at the table, what are the odds that there is one other player with an ace in the hole?
Believe it or not, many players can't answer that very quickly, but almost everyone knows what the worst hand is. I won't deny that poker is a betting and bluffing game, but you still need to know the odds and expectations, the probabilities, otherwise you are playing in the dark. Not knowing how to play any hand makes it the most dangerous hand you can draw. For more on poker odds and percentages, go to Poker Odds and Percentages.

Texas Holdem Poker Tournament Strategy - Starting Hands
Welcome to the fifth in my Texas Holdem Poker Strategy Series, focusing on no limit Texas Holdem poker tournament play and associated strategies. In this article, we’ll examine starting hand decisions.
It may seem obvious, but deciding which starting hands to play, and which ones to skip playing, is one of the most important Texas Holdem poker decisions you'll make. Deciding which starting hands to play begins by accounting for several factors:
* Starting Hand "groups" (Sklansky made some good suggestions in his classic "Theory of Poker" book by David Sklansky)
* Your table position
* Number of players at the table
* Chip position
Sklansky originally proposed some Texas Holdem poker starting hand groups, which turned out to be very useful as general guidelines. Below you'll find a "modified" (enhanced) version of the Sklansky starting hands table. I adapted the original Sklansky tables, which were "too tight" and rigid for my liking, into a more playable approach that are used in the Poker Sidekick poker odds calculator. Here's the key to these starting hands:
Groups 1 to 8: These are essentially the same scale as Sklansky originally proposed, although some hands have been shifted around to improve playability and there is no group 9.
Group 30: These are now "questionable" hands, hands that should be played rarely, but can be reasonably played occasionally in order to mix things up and keep your opponents off balance. Loose players will play these a bit more often, tight players will rarely play them, experienced players will open with them only occasionally and randomly.
The table below is the exact set of starting hands that Poker Sidekick uses when it calculates starting poker hands. If you use Poker Sidekick, it will tell you which group each starting hand is in (if you can't remember them), along with estimating the "relative strength" of each starting hand. You can just print this article and use it as a starting hand reference.
Group 1: AA, KK, AKs
Group 2: QQ, JJ, AK, AQs, AJs, KQs
Group 3: TT, AQ, ATs, KJs, QJs, JTs
Group 4: 99, 88, AJ, AT, KQ, KTs, QTs, J9s, T9s, 98s
Group 5: 77, 66, A9s, A5s-A2s, K9s, KJ, KT, QJ, QT, Q9s, JT, QJ, T8s, 97s, 87s, 76s, 65s
Group 6: 55, 44, 33, 22, K9, J9, 86s
Group 7: T9, 98, 85s
Group 8: Q9, J8, T8, 87, 76, 65
Group 30: A9s-A6s, A8-A2, K8-K2, K8-K2s, J8s, J7s, T7, 96s, 75s, 74s, 64s, 54s, 53s, 43s, 42s, 32s, 32
All other hands not shown (virtually unplayable).
So, those are the enhanced Sklasky Texas Holdem poker starting hand tables.
The later your position at the table (dealer is latest position, small blind is earliest), the more starting hands you should play. If you're on the dealer button, with a full table, play groups 1 thru 6. If you're in middle position, reduce play to groups 1 thru 3 (tight) and 4 (loose). In early position, reduce play to groups 1 (tight) or 1 thru 2 (loose). Of course, in the big blind, you get what you get.
As the number of players drops into the 5 to 7 range, I recommend tightening up overall and playing far fewer, premium hands from the better positions (groups 1 - 2). This is a great time to forget about chasing flush and straight draws, which puts you at risk and wastes chips.
As the number of players drops to 4, it's time to open up and play far more hands (groups 1 - 5), but carefully. At this stage, you're close to being in the money in a Texas Holdem poker tournament, so be extra careful. I'll often just protect my blinds, steal occasionally, and try to let the smaller stacks get blinded or knocked out (putting me into the money). If I'm one of the small stacks, well, then I'm forced to pick the best hand I can get and go all-in and hope to double-up.
When the play is down to 3, it's time to avoid engaging with big stacks and hang on to see if we can land 2nd place, heads-up. I tend to tighten up a bit here, playing very similar to when there's just 3 players (avoiding confrontation unless I'm holding a pair or an Ace or a King, if possible).
Once you're heads-up, well, that's a topic for a completely different article, but in general, it's time to become extraordinarily aggressive, raise a lot, and become "pushy".
In tournaments, it's always important to keep track of your chips stack size relative to the blinds and everyone else's stacks. If you're short on chips, then play far fewer hands (tigher), and when you do get a good hand, extract as many chips as you can with it. If you're the big stack, well, you should avoid unnecessary confrontation, but use your big stack position to push everyone around and steal blinds occasionally as well - without risking too many chips in the process (the other players will be trying to use you to double-up, so be careful).
Well, that's a quick overview of an improved set of starting hands and some general rules for adjusting starting hand play based upon game conditions throughout the tournament.
Until next time, best of luck to you at the Texas Holdem poker tables!

On the other hand, no limit holdem has no rules which caps or regulates the amount of bets. Wagers increase by any amount up to the point when all players have either called the hand or folded. This is the variation of the game in which all-ins are frequent, and where skill comes to the forefront, this particular variation of the game is very popular and it's often seen in TV shows such as the "World Poker Tour" It's also very important to be patient in this type of Poker game; it is often seen that a lot of "newbies" are very fond of going all-in all the time, and if you're playing online with fun money this can be a real pain in the neck. Understanding Texas Holdem Poker
Texas Holdem is actually quite easy to learn. This is perhaps why the game is becoming quite the rage in card rooms all over the world whether online or offline. In the Texas Holdem poker, the dealer gives two faced-down cards, which is called the hole cards or the pocket cards in poker lingo. After which, the players are dealt with 5 faced-up cards, which is called community cards. At the final round of betting, players must make the best hand out of the seven cards that they are dealt with, the two cards given faced down and the five cards given faced-up.
The process
For the first round of betting, two faced-down cards are given. Three are then supplied facing up at the middle of the table. These cards can be used by other players to make their hands strong. This is known as the flop. A round of betting is done after this. The fourth card is dealt with faced down and betting is again opened. This is called the fourth street or the turn card. The fifth and final card is dealt again at the center of the table and the last round of betting will then occur. This final card is called the river card. Players have the option to bet, to check, to raise or to fold.
Players that are in immediate left of the dealer are called the small blind (referring to the nearest) and the big blind (referring to the farthest positions). Players that want to enter the hand should call the big blind so that they can stay in the game. Otherwise they will have to fold.
As mentioned before, players who have the best hand will win the pot. The best hand combinations will of course depend on the standard poker hands. In case of ties, which often happens with this variant of poker, players will split the pot money.
Types of Betting
There are three types of betting in Texas Holdem Poker. In the Limit Holdem betting structure, the amount that a player will bet or raise will be limited to amounts that are already specified at the start of the game. Small blind and big blinds will have specific amounts that they can bet on the first two rounds of betting. On the third and succeeding betting rounds, the bets will be raised in specified increments, for instance, two-dollar increments. After turn and river betting will of course be more expensive.
Spread limit Holdem Poker, on the other hand, is much the same as Limit Holdem except for one thing, the raising of bets will not be according to a specified amount but instead according to a certain range or “spread,” the term used in poker games.
Another kind of betting structure is the Pot Limit Holdem, which limits the player’s maximum bet. In this structure, a player’s bet cannot exceed the total amount accumulated in the pot.
In the no limit holdem betting structure, there is no limit on the amounts that players can bet or raise. This can be difficult for players who also depend on the size of the betting to guess the strength of the hand of their opponents. Because there are no limits and no ranges, they have no way of knowing if the player is confident with his hand or just a plain big casino spender.

Texas Hold Em Poker is Nothing But Luck
Did the title make you mad? If you have been playing
texas holdem for awhile, I'm sure it did. If you're
new to the game, you might have read the title and
think I'm about to tell you why texas holdem is all
luck, all the time. Sorry, no way.
Texas Holdem is a game of skill. This may be hard to believe
from the games you might play with your friends, but that
doesn't make it any less true. Sure, luck plays a role but
doesn't luck play a role in almost anything, not just texas
holdem?
Let's look at some of the decisions that need to be made
when playing a hand of texas holdem.
You have to determine which hands you are going to play,
and in what situations, including the size of your stack
and whether you're in early or late position, what the
bets were before you, etc. There's a lot to think about
in Texas Holdem before you even decide to get into a hand.
I didn't even mention that the style of the players at the
table (and the number of players for that matter) will play
a role in whether or not you play a hand.
Then, once you're in a hand, there's bluffing. Can you make
the other players at the poker table believe you have the
best hand, even when all you have is a 34 off suit with
a rainbow flop 6 10 K 8 A? Some players can do this more
often and more effectively than others, raking in pots they
just don't have the cards to win. Why? Because bluffing at
Texas Holdem is a skill.
While bluffing is a skill, so is reading, which is basically
the opposite of bluffing. Can you tell, by what your opponent's
actions are at the table, whether or not they really have a solid
texas holdem hand that can take the pot? Can you spot their "tell"
that lets you know whether they have those pocket ace's or nothing
at all?
I could go on and on. The variables in texas holdem that will affect
how you play each hand are just about endless. With a game like
roulette, you pick your number and color and hope for the best.
You can't affect the outcome in any way, unless you cheat. As you
can see from just the few examples above, this just isn't true in
texas holdem. So if you love the game and want to get better and
start winning some games, it is possible. You can become a better
texas holdem poker player.

Texas Holdem Pre-flop Tips – A 7 Step Guide to Winning The Big Pots!
You need to play carefully in Texas holdem pre-flop if you want to win get your pre-flop right and you can drop out when you have no chance of winning and stay in when you do.
Here are some Texas holdem pre-flop tips to help you win and win big!
Texas Holdem Pre-flop Tip 1 - Number of Players
Firstly, you need to consider the number of players at the table.
For example, with 10 players for example, there is a better chance of someone having a good hand, than in games with fewer players.
Players need to be more conservative and less aggressive larger games as more players mean the odds of you having the best hand decrease.
Texas Holdem pre-flop Tip 2 – Players Playing Style
Look at all the other players and how they are playing their hands. Adapt your strategy accordingly to take them on and beat them.
If you see a player is raising every hand pre-flop, you need to be playing tighter.
You can then remove them from the table when you have a good enough hand in the pocket pre-flop.
Texas Holdem pre-flop Tip 3 – Your Chips
If you only have a small number of chips play carefully and select one hand to bet on, hoping to get as many players involved as possible for a good size pot.
In reverse if you have a large amount of chips, you can afford to take the higher-risk higher payout bets and play in amore aggressive style as you have the bankroll to back you up.
Texas Holdem pre flop Tip 4 - Table Position
It’s a basic fact that players in late positions can influence
the size of the pot more than players in early position and you need to always keep this in mind.
This is critical in the pre-flop period.
If you are in early position you simply have limited idea of what other players have and this should dictate your play.
Players must be cautious when playing hands from early position.
Players in late position can play weaker hands with less fear of loss.
Texas Holdem pre flop Tip 5 – Know the Hands to play
Which hands are most likely to yield a win in pre-flop?
There is a lot of free material that will help you determine the odds, until they become second nature to you, so make use of them playing and calculating the odds in this period is critical.
Tip 6 – Waiting for the right play
Perhaps the most important pre-flop skill to learn is to be patient unemotional and play with discipline waiting for the right hand to play.
This means only playing when the odds are in your favor
You have to beat all the other players and on a table of 10 for example, the statistics will be that your hand is simply not good enough most of the time.
Everyone wants to play for big pots, but if you play too often you will end up a loser.
An advantage of being out of the pot, will mean you can study other players style from a detached point of view to give you valuable information on their playing style, to use against them later!
Texas Holdem pre-flop Tip 7 – Practice
As we all know Texas Holdem is a game of psychology and this starts in pre-flop.
It takes a good deal of practice to master the tips above. They are all easy on paper, but different when you are playing with real money on the line.
Don’t expect overnight results – Practice makes perfect, so play on lower stakes tables and work your way up to harder games as you gain experience.
In time you will be able to implement all the tips above and start to win big in Texas holdem.

The History of Texas Holdem
Texas Holdem is a variety of Poker, a card game which originated in the 19th century. The origins of Poker are still disputed to this day, with a number of conflicting accounts about where it came from, and who first played it; similar games exist back to the Renaissance period. The word ‘Poker’ actually comes from the German word ‘pochen’, which means “to knock”.
However, most accounts generally agree that it was French settlers who first played Poker in New Orleans around 1830. It may have been introduced to them by Persian traders, as it bears strong similarities with the 16th century Persian card game As Nas. The popularity of Poker meant that it quickly spread throughout the USA, along the transport routes of rivers and railroads. It became especially popular when played amongst cowboys in the Old West.
Texas Holdem, or Hold’em as it is also known, is today one of the most popular versions of Poker in the world. Although nobody is really sure where this version was first played, it seems clear that Texas was the state of origin! Some reports say that the first ever game was played in Robstown in the 1900s and it spread to Dallas in 1925. Texas Holdem has enjoyed widespread recognition ever since.
The popularity of Texas Holdem was widely increased in 1970. In this year, the Horseshoe Hotel and Casino was opened in Las Vegas by Benny Binion. Binion decided to take over a small invitational Poker tournament from Riverside Casino’s Tom Morehead. What as the name of the tournament? The World Series of Poker and the game of choice was Texas Holdem.
Binion focused on the gambling element of the game by devising the idea of rapidly increasing antes and blinds, so that a winner could be produced within a relatively short space of time. In 1972, 8 players took part in the World Series of Poker tournament; thirty years later, the 8 had increased to 800! This annual tournament is now recognised as the most important in the world. In the last five years, the increasing popularity of televised tournaments means that Texas Holdem has become a part of mainstream television.
Additionally, through modern innovations in technology, Texas Holdem Poker has branched off in new directions. Games can now be played directly through the internet, or even on a cell phone! The game’s simplicity and huge entertainment value have contributed to its popularity, which shows no sign of decrease. Texas Holdem is clearly the most famous Poker game in the world.

Texas Holdem Poker - The Rise in Popularity
Texas Holdem is now the most popular poker game in the world. What makes it so well-liked? Much of the credit, of course, must be given to the fact that it is now seen on TV on a regular basis. That alone can't explain the passion that has exploded for the game, though. If habitual watching of a game on TV made us all want to play it, we'd all be wearing helmets and heading to football fields. So what is it about Texas Holdem that has bewitched millions of people around the world?
Seeing the game on television introduced the world to Texas Holdem. The sheer challenge and enjoyment of it took over from there. Because the community cards are visible to everyone, spectators feel more involved than they do in other games. They can join in the strategizing and mentally play along. In just a few, quick flips of a card, they will know if they made the right decision.
The excitement level of a good Texas Holdem game is always high, especially when playing with no limit stakes. The tables can turn completely with the deal of a single card. Action is quick and nonstop for spectators and players alike.
Another appealing aspect is that almost anyone can join in a game. You don't have to have any athletic abilities or physical skills. Young and old can play together for hours. Texas Holdem eliminates both the generation gap and gender differences.
Many people are hooked on the psychological side of the game. Almost anyone who appreciates strategy in a competition enjoys playing Texas Holdem. Yes, the luck of the draw is important, but in what other game can you be holding the losing hand and, by using only your wits, convince everyone that you are undefeatable and end up winning?
Texas Holdem has a number of different appeals. Perhaps the best one is that it brings family and friends together just for fun. In these hectic, frustrating times, that in itself is enough to win the approval of the world.

Slowplaying in Poker - Texas Hold'em
Basically, here's a list of hands that a person might slow-play:
- They've flopped their set.
- They've nailed their flush.
- They've nailed their straight.
- They've flopped two pair.
- They've booked up.
When slow playing, you must note what is actually on the board! I've seen far too many players bust their hand by slow playing their set, or their two pair, when there's a flush draw on the board. Observe. Check to see if there are hands that have a reasonable chance of beating you:
- Is there a flush draw out there?
- A straight draw?
- If you've flopped a flush holding two low cards, you've got to keep in mind that other people are still drawing to a higher flush.
You must not overvalue your hand; it's great you've flopped your set with your pocket pair, but you cannot slow play it if there's a potential flush out there. It's just not safe betting. You're letting people draw cheaply - is your hand strong enough?
A great time to slow-play:
- You've flopped the nuts (or a very strong hand.. i.e. 7d, 7s or Kd, Kh)
- There are minimal draws on the board. (3d, 7h, Ks)
- The pot is small.
- You want your opponents to catch up a bit. You're so far ahead that it is very unlikely they will catch up completely.
Hopefully another player has caught a pair of kings and will call you down, but you want to check this one out and let others improve their hands so that they bet and they think they're ahead.
A bad time to slow-play:
- You've flopped your set. (Hole cards: 2s, 2d)
- The flop holds 2 suited cards, and they're also connected. (7d, 8d, 2h)
- The pot is large, and there are still 4 other players in it.
What will happen in the latter example is that people have great odds to call with their drawing hands, so you must be careful even when betting aggressively. Just don't slow play!
Don't overvalue your hand!
What Is Blackjack Switch?
Many of us are familiar with the traditional game of blackjack. Blackjack switch is a modern twist on the original game, but is it worth playing? What is the house edge? And which version is better for the player, traditional Blackjack or Blackjack switch?
First of all we will have a refresher course in the original game of blackjack. The aim of the game in blackjack is to attain a score as close as possible to 21 without going over. Players are dealt 2 cards initially, as is the dealer. All cards are worth their face value, picture cards are worth 10 and aces are worth either 11 or 1 whichever suits your hand best. The player (you) always goes first and you have the decision to hit, stand or fold. Once you have finished making your decisions and you have not busted out, the dealer has their turn. Normally they must draw to at least 17. Once this has been achieved whoever has the closest score to 21 is the winner. If the dealer busts then the player wins. If a player or dealer has a picture card and an ace it is known as a blackjack. If a player has a blackjack they are paid 3:2 on their bet.
This is all standard stuff; this version has been played for years and is by far the most popular version of blackjack around. However in recent years casino operators have tried to add some variation to the game and have created a number of variations of the original game. Blackjack switch allows players playing 2 hands with an equal bet on each to switch the second card they receive from one hand to another. This action if played correctly can turn 2 bum hands into to very lucrative hands. But (and there is always a but) there is a price to pay.
There are 2 rules which aim to even out the advantage gained by the player switching the hands are as follows. Firstly if the dealer gets a score of 22 then it is a push or a draw. In conventional blackjack if the dealer attained a score of 22 he would bust and you would win the bet. The second difference to affect the odds is the fact that player blackjacks now only pay even money instead of the traditional 3:2 ratio.
Players may only switch the second cards dealt. For example say you were dealt a 7 6 and a 3 4, you would switch the 6 and the 4 to make new hands of 7 4 and 3 6 thus greatly improving your chances of generating a winning hand. In many cases the decision as to whether or not you should switch the cards will be fairly self explanatory, but detailed calculations are very much more complex.
You can play blackjack switch online. Bewise bets has a list of casinos that offer the game (see link at the bottom of the page). The odds are considered slightly better than that of traditional blackjack although the benefits are marginal at best. Overall it makes little difference as to which game you play but it can be nice to play as a change.

Blackjack Doubling Down – Do It Correctly & Increase Your Bankroll
As you are going to win less than half the hands you play at blackjack, you need to up your bet size on hands when you see the odds are in your favor.
If you want to win at blackjack you will need to learn how to double down and up your bet when the odds are in your favor to win longer term.
Lets look at doubling down in more detail.
While playing blackjack you may be dealt two cards of equal value.
This is a great opportunity and you can then split the cards and ‘double down’. This means that after you receive your two cards, you can add an extra bet, and have effectively two hands.
Sometimes and in some casinos, you can double down on anything in your hand.
In other casinos you have to have a ten or eleven to double down, however doubling down is a favorable rule to the player.
An even more favorable rule is when the casino allows you to double after splitting This really affects the house advantage.
Say you are playing blackjack at a table that uses eight decks, and allows you to double on anything. In this case the casino advantage has dropped to -0.55%. It’s almost an equal game.
There are additional rules for doubling that can reduce or increase the casino advantage. Here are two examples:
If you double down after splitting you will reduce the house odds .13 % to -0.42
If you double down on a 10 and 11 only - .21 so you increase the house odds to -0.76
Discover a basic strategy for blackjack, and use it to determine when you should double down or not.
The strategy must be based on the math and favorable rules. Why is doubling down is so favorable?
Because if you are doubling your bet when you have the best opportunity of beating the dealer and this is the real object of the game.
Knowing when to double down should be done when you know the dealer is weak. A dealer’s up card can indicate his probability to bust. See the table below!
Dealer's Up card 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 Ace
Bust % 35 37 40 42 42 26 24 23 23 17
So a dealer’s worst up cards are the two through six. These card will see the dealer bust more than any other up cards. Knowing this, you can double down and be successful.
How about doubling down when the dealer has good up cards? Say a 9 or 10?
These are really more dangerous, but in the end can pay off. You wont be winning as much as when the dealer has smaller up cards, but if your strategy calls for it, double down here too.
Don’t be afraid of losing a double bet. If you are, you are at the wrong table, and move down to a lower table minimum. This is the right play if the time is right, so bet correctly and win.
A common mistake some players make is doubling down with a bet less than your original one.
Why do that?
If you doubling down, you are pretty certain you are going to win.
So why win less than you can?
Again, if you are nervous about losing a double bet, move to a table who’s minimums suit you.
There are also times when nothing works. It happens to everyone. Playing blackjack is a long-term play, and you have to see the big picture.
Doubling down will give you some odds advantage, and a chance to start winning. Stick with it.
Doubling down at the correct time is a good idea, good strategy, and can be extremely profitable.
Finally, if you fail to double down at the correct moment, you only increase the casino’s odds advantage against you.
Be positive, double down correctly and win!

Eight Blackjack Tips to Win You More Money
You can, and will gain an advantage that will give you an edge in playing for long term consistent profits, if you make the required effort by learning the basic strategy, card counting and play to a predetermined plan.
Here are 10 blackjack tips to help you win
1. Learn the Basic Strategy
Statistically, there is one perfect action a player can make, for each of the hands he is dealt, against each up card the dealer holds. This is known as the Basic strategy, and all winning blackjack strategies are based on it.
2. Manage Your Money Correctly
All blackjack players will have losing periods and bad runs and so need to manage their bankroll. A money management rule that is effective is to bet with 1% of your bankroll. For example, if you have a bankroll of $2000, your betting size is 1%, or $20. If you are playing with a 1.5% advantage over the house, (with a
card counting strategy), the chances of losing your entire bankroll are only 5%. It's a mathematical certainty that you will hit a losing run, so you need to be able to ride out those periods.
3. Learn to Count Cards Using a Specific System
Most people who play blackjack do not go beyond basic strategy. However, for the serious player, it has been proven mathematically that by counting cards, you can actually get and maintain a positive advantage over the casino. You can then keep a running count of, and work out the probability of, the undealt cards to come out of the deck. There are lots of different counting systems and you need to pick one that's right for you. However, even a simple system will give you an edge over the casino.
4. Estimate the True Count
Once you know the running count, you are then able to calculate the true count. The true count is the running count divided by the number of decks of undealt cards. The true count gives a better indication of how favorable the remaining cards are than does the running count, and only needs to be calculated when you
want to perform an action i.e. betting.
5. Learn to Adjust Your Bet Size Based on the True Count
As the true count goes up, so should the bet size. As the true count goes down, the bet size should be decreased. You will lose more hands then you will win, so in order to make money longer term, you need to up your bet size when the odds are favorable. This tip is the key to winning big in blackjack.
6. Play with Favorable House Rules
The house rules dictate how much money you can expect to win in the long run. You therefore need to look for favorable house rules to give you an extra edge.
7. State of Mind
If you are seriously playing for money, make sure that you are mentally alert and are concentrating fully. Don't play when you have had a row with the wife, or have been drinking! You need to be sharp and focused.
8. Discipline - The Key to Success
The final blackjack tip for greater profits is obvious: If you have a plan, you need discipline to implement it unemotionally, and stick with it even in losing periods.
Without the discipline to implement your plan, you don't have one!

Advanced Blackjack Strategy
Blackjack card counting is an advanced technique to win on blackjack. A player must first learn the basic strategies of blackjack before learning “counting”. By learning the technique of counting you will have the odds with you.
The basic concept of blackjack counting is that a deck filled with 10s and aces will be to your advantage. While the deck of the dealer is filled with smaller cards but is to the dealer’s advantage. Simply put, when the deck is in your favor bet to the maximum, when it’s with the dealer’s bet minimum.
This is because a deck filled with 10 increases the chance of the dealer getting bust. You on the other hand can just opt to stand. In an opposite manner, a deck filled with smaller cards makes the dealers chance to bust less. If you know the deck is filled with 10s or smaller cards, this can give you the advantage of knowing what strategy to use.
The dealer must then always hit until having a soft 17. To hit with a hand of 10 & 6 and knowing the deck is filled with 10s is a bad idea.
If the deck is filled with aces, there is high chance that you’ll hit blackjack. When the player has blackjack, the pay off odds are 3:2. The dealer will only win on the other hand if he also gets a blackjack. That’s why a deck filled with aces is always to the player’s advantage.
Blackjack counting is not done by memorizing each card that has come out of a 6 deck shoe of cards. If you are able to do that, I'd be in awe: you should be in the world records book or maybe even the loony bin.
Blackjack card counting is done by assigning the different card numbers with different point values. Always remember to pick a system that is easy to remember. This will cause fewer mistakes and you will lose less money.
As stated above, you will assign a point value for each card and you will have to add the value of the cards that have come out. This is called the running count. Based on the plus/minus strategy, here are the values assigned.
2, 3,4,5,6 = +1;
7, 8, 9 = 0;
10, J, Q, K, Ace = -1
To illustrate this more clearly:
The first card dealt is an ace, so we start by having -1. Then 6 is the next card dealt so we add 1. This makes the run count back to zero. Then a 3 and 4 follows, making the run count now 2.
After figuring the run count, you can try to figure the true count. You take the running count you have and divide it with the number of decks remaining from the shoe.
The true counts tell you the appropriate bet size and you can base your strategy from there. Good luck!

Beginners Blackjack - An Easy Guide To Help You Win
Not sure how to play Blackjack but want to learn how to get the odds in your favor and win big?
Beginner’s Blackjack will guide as you, and you will find here some fool-proof ideas to help you avoid mistakes and win.
Most beginners think blackjack is a complicated game and requires a lot of effort, time and money. This is not true.
So, if you are blackjack beginner, then these three steps are for you a they will help you win.
1. Anyone can win at blackjack
Firstly, the object of the game is have a hand with a points total close to 21, without going over 21 to beat the dealer. In fact, the entire object of the game it to beat the dealer.
For your information, all the face cards (that is, the kings, queens and jacks) are worth 10 points. All the
Aces are worth either 1 or 11 points (whichever is better for your hand). All the other cards are exactly worth their number.
Remember, when you play blackjack you are competing only against the dealer.
The dealer can make no choices - All the dealer can do is follow the house rules. However, you do have a lot of choices to make and how you make them will determine if you win or not.
This one fact makes blackjack a game you can win over the long term. But you must choose correctly.
2. A Strategy to even out the odds.
It is a mathematically proven method that any blackjack strategy must statistically give you the odds on how to play your cards in relation to the hands that have passed.
So, the strategy below, used over time, can help you even out the odds and gain an edge over the casino.
The idea is to reduce the casino odds advantage or house edge; which is 5.75% to just 0.5% and then move to a positive edge of 2%.
Let’s see how it’s done, its easy!
3. Card Counting – The Secret Strategy of Blackjack
To help you put the odds in your favor, any blackjack card counting method must give you an idea of the probability of what is left in the deck and what cards have a probability of coming out.
You do this by counting the cards already dealt and then estimate the probability of cards most likely cards to be dealt next.
You then increase bet size when the odds favor you and decrease it when the odds favor the dealer.
First you need to learn blackjack basic strategy this reduces the odds to just 0.5%.
Basic strategy tells you the best cards to play in rleation to any cards dealt to you and is soon committed to memory, until you do this pre printed cards are available.
Now its time to get the odds in your favor by adding a card counting strategy.
With card counting, you can get the odds advantage the casino holds over you in your favor.
Blackjack low cards generally favor the dealer and high cards favor the player as we have stated as. low cards help the dealer make winning totals on his hands when he is stiff, i.e. “must hit” (the dealer has a 12, 13, 14, 15, or 16 total on his first two cards).
You should know that in blackjack, you can stand on ‘your’ stiffs if you want to, but the dealer can’t.
The dealer can make no choices.
Blackjack rules require a dealer to hit when he is stiff, and the deck may be full on high cards that can make him bust.
A few things to remember
Blackjack is really a simple game, and doesn’t take to much time or money to become good and a winner.
Pick a blackjack card counting system that you are comfortable with, you can actually learn one in about 20 minutes, so its perfect introduction for a beginner in blackjack.
Stick with it also while you play. It is important to be consistent and never delvaite from your system if you lose short term be prepared this is a long term strategy and will eventually help you win.
Focus on the long term.
Card counting will allow you to get an odds advantage over the casino.
Some systems are very simple and really effective as we have said use them first and then work up to more complicated methods if you wish.
Finally, remember that it is the choices that you make that will bring you big online profits. In beginner’s blackjack you must learn the correct choices. Good luck.

Learn to Play Blackjack & Win Big Pots Consistently - Part 1
Learn to Play Blackjack and Win Part 1
Learning to play blackjack is easy and it is the one casino game where statistically you can hold an edge over the casino.
You can learn blackjack easily the rules are simple but to win at blackjack you need to play correctly and bet when the odds are in your favor
This article will give you the basics of how to learn blackjack and the next article will go into winning strategies.
So let's get started and learn blackjack rules and how to play.
Learn Blackjack The rules
The object is to take cards with point totals as close to 21 without going over 21. The face cards (Kings, Queens and Jacks) are worth 10 points each. Aces are worth 1 or 11, whichever is advantageous to your hand. All other cards are represented by their designated number.
Should the player and the dealer tie, it is called a “push” and there is no winner. The ace and a 10 (called a natural or Blackjack) on the first two cards dealt is an automatic player win paying out at 1.5 to 1, unless the house ties with a blackjack as well.
Winning at blackjack means you must beat the dealer without “busting”. You bust if the cards in your hand total to more than 21.
Learn Blackjack - betting
A casino blackjack table usually seats 6 players. Most tables used to use one or two decks of cards to play, but to counter the professional card counters; the casinos now use six decks of cards. These are shuffled together by the dealer and placed in a card dealing box called the 'shoe'.
To begin play, you must place a bet. The dealer then deals each player two cards (some table leave the cards dealt face up, some face down). The dealer gets one face up, one face down.
At this point, each player in their turn will “stay” or “hit” (takes more cards), and to try and get closer to 21 without busting.
If you have not busted, you are still in the game, and it’s now the dealer’s turn. The dealer now turns up the hidden card, and by the rules, at sums of 17 or higher the dealer must stay; on sums of 16 or lower the dealer must draw.
If you have a natural (or blackjack) with your first two cards (an ace and a face or ten card), you win automatically, unless the dealer also has Blackjack, then it’s a push (tie).
Otherwise, any players with a higher score than the dealer wins an amount equal to their bet. Anyone less than the dealer, loses. Should the dealer go bust, all the remaining players win.
Blackjack Terminology
Double Down: double your initial bet following the initial two-card deal, but you can hit one card only. A good bet if the player is in a strong situation.
Early Surrender: surrender allowed before the dealer checks for blackjack.
Even Money: cashing in your bet immediately at a 1:1 payout ratio when you are dealt a natural blackjack and the dealer's showing card is an Ace Insurance: side bet up to half the initial bet against the dealer having a natural 21 - allowed only when the dealer's showing card is an Ace. If the dealer has a 10 face down and makes a blackjack, insurance pays at 2-1 odds, but loses if the dealer does not.
•Hard Hand: A hand without an Ace or with an Ace valued at 1 is said to be hard in that it can only be given one value, unlike a Soft Hand. (You can value an Ace 1 or 11 to suit you
•Late Surrender: the dealer first checks to see if he has blackjack. If he does, surrender is not permitted.
•Soft Hand: A hand that contains an Ace counted as 11 is called a Soft Hand.
•Split Hand: split the initial two-card hand into two and play them separately - allowed only when the two first cards are of equal value. Use each card as the start to a separate hand and place a second bet equal to the first.
•Surrender: giving up your hand and lose only half the bet.
What Are the Odds?
If you have no strategy, the Casino’s odds are against you by about 7%.
If you use a good strategy and keep with it, the Casino’s odds against you are only 0.5% or less. If you can card count, and know when to bet, you can bring the advantage to about 1% in your favor.
Now you have learned to play blackjack its time to look at some strategies to win in part 2

Poker - Texas Holdem Starting Hands
There are, quite literally, millions of starting hands in a game of poker, but only 169 different two-card starting combinations - assuming 7s,8c is the same as 7c, 8d. We assume this only because both hands have identical hand strength pre-flop. We can then categorize these starting hands into the following groups:
- Pair: 7,7; 2,2.
- Connected Cards: 3,4; 5,6.
- Suited Connectors: 3d,4d; 5h,6h
- Gapped Cards: 3,7; 5,10.
- Suited Gapped: 2d,8d; 6c,10c
A couple of observations to note:
Connected cards make more straights. The closer the two cards are to one and other, the more likely they are to make a straight. i.e. With 7,8, you are more likely to make a straight than with 7,10.
Gapped cards are the worst types of cards to play. Unsuited gapped cards are the least valuable, followed by suited gapped cards.
Starting Hands in an Early Position.

This is slightly tighter than Krieger's starting hands, because I feel that his selection is far too loose especially towards the later positions. This is still quite a liberal calling rate pre-flop, and you can tighten up a little bit beyond this to improve your overall EV (expected value). This chart is meant only as a guide, and players should only call the BB (big blind). For raises, you should probably only be playing the first line of each category per position.
Tips to Win Online Roulette
After knowing the basics and winning some odds, a new punter looks for tips to become a pro in online roulette. Essentially, online roulette is too a game of probability, but there are some tips to win online roulette games.
Tip - 1
Table Limits: First, get to know about the table limits thoroughly, as every roulette table has minimum as well as maximum wagering amount, so never go or stick to a fixed table and bet on it.
Tip - 2
Comfort level: Place your bets only on those tables, where you find comfortable to play. Often, good players never bet to flaunt, as they only bet to earn good profits, whether it is a $1 or $1000 bet. It is better to set aside some amount, since you do not want to log out empty handed.
Tip - 3
Liveliness: Be energized and bet against the table more than one times and never give up. It is simple and gives a gutsy feeling, irrespective of your fondness towards that particular table.
Tip - 4
Subordinate: Be the boss of your chips. At times, newbies allow the dealer to place his or her original bet and accept the chips that they offer. This is wrong, as online roulette gives you the freedom to move your chips, wherever you like.
Tip - 5
To win online roulette game, you need to include the conventional Martingale system. As this system enables to double the consecutive bet to compensate those losses faced in earlier bet. Finally, practice the free trial version to win online roulette, before you go for the actual game play.

3 Sports Betting Tips to Pick the Best Sportsbook and Sportsbetting Service
There are a lot of ways to bet on sports and you may have your favorite bets and sports that you like to play. Finding a good sportsbook is half the battle or maybe even more than that. Getting good service and odds as well as a reload bonus or break on the juice will keep you loyal to a book more often than fancy advertising or empty promises.
Are you satisfied with the book you are using now? I recently asked ten of my friends if they were satisfied with their book and to my surprise, every one of them said they were not completely satisfied.
"Why stay with them?" I asked.
The answers I got all pretty much were along the line that they had tried other bookmakers and the one they were using now was the lesser of all evils. In other words, the best of the bunch, but not anything to write home about.
I think that is sad. Sportsbetting for profit is hard enough without having the bookmakers against you. I realize that they are "against" you, but they should beat you with better handicapping, not crappy service or lousy odds or juice that no one can overcome.
Therefore, I have a few recommendations when choosing a good online sportsbook. Naturally these tips are only for people who live where online sportsbetting is legal. Here is a real big tip and the first thing you should realize.
1. A book that will break the law and take your action when you are in a place where betting online is illegal, is on shaky ground to start with. They may run into legal problems and have to shut down quickly and guess who won't get paid? Also, if you have a dispute, who are you going to run to for help? Where bookmaking online is legal there are licensing boards who protect the players, such as the ACT in Australia. If you bet illegally online you are really gambling in more ways than one.
2. When I open a sportsbook with an odds maker I like to get my own personal representative or at least get the name of a rep. when I am dealing with customer service. Here is a big tip. When you open a book, find a reason to contact customer service with a small problem. See how they handle it. A small problem should still be important enough for them to come to your aid in a reasonable amount of time. If they can't be bothered, close the book and move on.
3. Obviously, you're looking for a sportsbook that is going to stand the test of time so ask about reloads and ongoing bonuses. Some sportsbetting services will offer a great bonus or free bet to get you, but then, once you've gone through the trouble of opening an account, they forget your name. The ones that want to keep you happy are the ones who will give you an even break, and let's face it, in sportsbetting, that is all most of us want.
